The latest in Regency-set Zombie Literature

I’m reading “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith, and wishing I came up with the idea myself. Classic Literature + Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem = Win!

Thus far it’s not full of belly laughs, per se (I’m halfway through and so far I’ve out-and-out guffawed once) but I’ve been audibly snorting/snickering since page one. (Which actually sounds like I’m turning into a horse. Hmm.)

I’ve read the original P&P a bazillion times, and I ♥ zombies and all things ridiculously silly, so for me it’s a winning combination.

How about you? What’s on your nightstand / Kindle / TBR?

Right now I’m most of the way through Dune by Frank Herbert. I’d never read it before, so when I saw it at the thrift shop, I figured it was about time. Next up is a nonfiction I picked up about Krakatoa.

Let me know how you like the book! I wasn’t a huge fan of the movie, but that was a long time ago and I historically prefer books to movies anyway, so… if you give it a thumbs up, I will put it on the TBR!
